Moses
Adopted summer of 2020
Moses was adopted at 5 years old and was still completely spunky and goofy! He's 8 now and has not slowed down. He's my sweet little cuddle butt.

Andy
Adopted 2017
I researched chinchillas thoroughly and relied on my experience with rats as well. I met Andy in person before adoption, but sadly I still wasn't prepared. Andy got daily outside-the-cage time, regular toys and cleaning, and I did my best to socialize with her. Even so, we never bonded and I had to give her up eventually during a move in 2018. I took a break from critters for a while until I knew I would be ready.

Rats
Adopted in high school
I had several rats throughout high school. Lucy was first, and I picked her out because she was all black and I thought she looked spooky. She was high energy! Next was Bijou, a standard black and white fancy rat. She was my favorite. Her temperament was very anxious and shy, but she was a total sweetie. Then there was Yuki the cream colored rat and Eva the curly-haired grey rat. Unfortunately neither of them were very healthy. Tucker was the last rat, and the only boy. He loved cuddling up on someone's lap for belly pets.
Devo
Childhood pet
Devo was my first best friend and we grew up together. He was excellent with kids despite not being very sturdy. He was patient and loving and let me dress him up in all my clothes. I have a soft spot for whippets (and greyhounds) to this day because of him.
